Physical Therapist Assistant

Family First Early Intervention is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. Our Physical Therapy Assistants are responsible for the treatment of children for gross motor development, helping children doing exercises as part of a plan of care, identifying family concerns in their home environment, and other activities of daily living. Family First Early Intervention is a First Steps Agency providing family centered care for birth to three years of age in the family’s natural environment.

 

Job Duties:

  • Complete treatment plans in accordance with state and federal standards and the family’s Individualized Family Service Plan

  • Provide quality care and treatment to children with a family focus

  • Maintain professional competence through continuous education, training, and development

  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure that all children receive the best possible care and treatment

  • Document child care and treatment information for the child’s parents/caregivers

  • Follow all policies, procedures, and guidelines established by Family First Early Intervention

  • Maintain a safe environment for children, providers, and families

  • Complete required documentation (e.g., daily logs, case notes, etc.) within their designated time frames.

  • Provide one-on-one time with children to promote daily living skills, interaction, and learning

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or related field preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

 

Salary: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
